The mage Baldassar is a member of the secret and mighty Phoenix Lodge.
For a very long time, Baldassar studied dragons and everything related to them. He discovered that one dragon, known as Paraxis, is the oldest and most powerful of Vortiusโ descendants.ย The wizard suggested that the incredible power of the dragonโs blood could not only turn a mortal into a god but could also help people to overthrow the current lords of Heaven.
Although the general public sees him as a weirdo obsessed with studying dragons, Baldassar is not just looking for fame or strength - this old wizard genuinely dreams of an opportunity to change the world.

Excellent quality and detail. Pieces fit together very well with virtually no mold lines. Staves were a little bent but warming them in hot water and then straightening them and putting into cold water resolves that issue. I love the dynamic pose of this. Very pleased.

My Baldassar the Elusive arrived today. Its a great miniature the parts look good and neat, very little flash on the parts, comes with two great Staves so the bits box will be getting a great spare staff for another project. Both Staves are really good, but for this model I will use the Dragon Staff.
I look forward to putting this one together but will have to be careful cleaning up the dragons wing tips.
