An interesting model, to say the least. The sculpt has a lot of very fine details, which for the most part, look great on the mini. there were a couple of problems that i havn’t had with other Signum minis (i’ll mention them at the bottom), but these were pretty easily solved and the final product turned out looking fine. if you’re curious, the model comes disassembled as five parts. A full body cast, head to toe, with left arm. Her right arm, holding a sword. A shield. A backpack/holster for pistols. And the visor that goes over her helmet. All in all, a fun little model with a variety of surface types to paint.
The minor problems I had:
– most pieces are printed onto pegs, or sprues. however, this model’s shield prints onto a flat block that’s directly connected to the bottom of the shield. It was easy enough to cut off, but it caused a bit of deformation in the printing. the resin ‘bubbled’ up a little bit around the bottom of the shield’s face and had to be smoothed out. thankfully, this was not an area with fine details, so it wasnt that big of a deal
– Her sword arm has a peg that is designed to fit into a slot in her shoulder. however, the shoulder slot was completely filled in. so, in order to piece her together, I had to clip off the arm’s peg and carve out just a little bit of the inside of the shoulder. again, this isnt anything that will show on a finished model, but it would have been nice if the pieces fit together as intended.

I’m probably going to pick up a second one of these. I really like it. Lots of details, some of which come as separate pieces. Several kit-bashing possibilities with this one. I agree with a previous review – the block on the bottom of this shield is a little annoying, but the resin used is flexible and strong, so clean-up is not insurmountable, provided one is cautious.

Cordelia was one of the mini that I saw the first time when Legends of Signum still had no official website / stand-alone stuff, finally grabbed her in a recent order. She looks way better in real life than in the picture, super happy with the cast. Compared to other miniatures I’ve purchased that have loads of parts, this one comes only 3x: body, shield and weapon), plus 1x small part (aka the bird face thingie to put on the helm) and 1x “backpack”. Overall quality is high, no defects, just the usual resin cleaning step to do!
