Concord of Archons
For centuries, wars have raged between the kingdoms that emerged from the ruins of the ancient Dwarven empire. But dwarves were not the only ones involved in this endless series of battles, many of the peoples who lived in the neighborhood of the fallen empire fought for the ancient rulers' riches, mines and fertile lands. Ambition and fear reigned in the hearts of rulers and warlords from the snowy peaks of the Frost Mountains to the flame-scarred slopes of the Dragon Mountains. This continued until a wise and far-sighted ruler came to power in a kingdom named Bronze. Through his efforts, an alliance was forged with the Bronze Kingdom's most implacable rivals - the Minotaurs of the Foothills, the harsh dwarves of Hammerhold, and the people of the Marble Cities.
The Concord of Archons is neither a unified empire nor a religious order. It is a community where different peoples work together as parts of a single mechanism. Old grudges are not forgotten, but left in the past to stand in the face of what is to come. The Archons know that if they become enemies again, no one will survive.

Dwarves of the Bronze Kingdom do not ask for miracles in temples, but create them themselves in their workshops. The forges still burn the same fires where the weapons of the ancient empire were forged, and their advanced inventions are considered unrivaled. The dwarves of the Bronze Kingdom don’t just preserve the legacy of the past, but they consider themselves its only worthy heirs.
The Queen Lyray-Nai is proud and warlike, like all descendants of ancient emperors. If she is not destined to lead the empire, then she intends to be first among equals in the Concord of Archons. Her word is weighty, her armies are formidable, and her eyes are always on the future.

Now the tunnels lead not to mines, but to enemy camps. The mole smells metal and movement, while Cain-Kurn identifies targets, sets traps, goes deep or crawls from his burrow to the surface to strike behind enemy lines.
