At this time, the wine flows freely and you can hear continuous loud songs. One evening a very strange bunch gathered at an inconspicuous table in one such tavern. After an intense card game battle, a pretty nervous goblin started to stare at a person sitting next to him shuffling cards with a poker face. This person with a big garish hat was too tall to be a dwarf, too weird to be a human, and too rude to be an elf, and it was impossible to guess his age at first sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDo you need something, fellow?\u201d the strange person asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYes, I do. I know nothing about you. Who are you? What\u2026 are you? Why do you win the sixth time in a row?\u201d goblin babbled, \u201dTell me, maybe you\u2019re some kind of a magician or something?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNot quite.\u201d the person smiled, \u201cWell, maybe when I make hats we can call it magic, yeah. Satin and silk, velvet and leather \u2013 aren\u2019t they just alchemical components that turn into gold once a customer picks up his hat from a store?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAn elf sitting at the same table seem to be bored so he scooped up some coins in front of him and quietly headed to a bar counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDon\u2019t play dumb! I don\u2019t believe you! I don\u2019t even know what race you actually are.\u201d a goblin became more persistent and focused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA human\u2026sort of\u2026 though some of my ancestors belonged to a magic race.\u201d the man giggled and continued \u201cAnything else?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYep, now I want my money back!\u201d the goblin slammed his fist on the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThen so be it!\u201d immediately answered the man, took off his hat, waved it, and all coins that were on their table faded away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat have you done?!\u201d the goblin has yelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat had to be done, goblin. I brought your gold back to the merchant you robbed this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHow dare you, you son of the pity wiza\u2026\u201d the goblin swung at him but it was too late as the man has disappeared not even listening to the last speech. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A roadside tavern is always full of people in the evening.
